At the August 15th Borough Council Meeting the Council voted to approve Ordinance 23-04 authorizing the acquisition of the Stockton School.
Thank you to the Stockton Civic Committee for hanging our holiday lights!
Please be aware that within the next few weeks, JCPL will begin trimming trees overhanging power lines in Stockton and in Delaware Township.
The NJ DOT will be replacing a guardrail over the D&R canal along Bridge Street in the coming weeks. The work is expected to take less than a day and will require alternating traffic for several hours. Residents should be prepared for noise and dust.
The NJ Water Supply Authority began the Canal Bank Stabilization Project, in Stockton, on Monday, August 7. They will be removed tarps and stabilized the bank to make the Borough safer from river flooding. Be prepared for continued noise and dust as they wrap up the project. Work was predicted to take 3-6 months.

Notice: Some wild animals in Stockton have shown signs of having medical issues. To maintain pet safety, our animal control officer is recommending that residents avoid leaving pet food outside near your homes, since this could attract wild animals with illnesses.
